Videos from our NISO Plus 2024 events, both in-person in Baltimore and our global online event. Organized by a committee representing libraries, publishers, vendors, and more from around the world, the program will consist of 4 tracks: Metadata, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Open Access, and a final “Wild Card” track that will include sessions from NISO working groups and updates on NISO projects, as well as topics that emerge over the next few months. The meeting format will emphasize conversation over presentation and offer opportunities throughout for participants to network, collaborate, and explore solutions to challenges currently facing scholarly communications.

NISO Plus 2023 was a virtual global event which happened around the world on February 14-16, 2023. Building on our track record of engagement and conversation, we brought the same quality of content from 2020-2022 to our 2023 gathering. Dozens of amazing speakers and keynotes from across the globe share their knowledge and expertise on important topics for the information community.

The NISO Plus conference brings people together from across the global information community to share updates and participate in conversations about our shared challenges and opportunities. The focus is on identifying concrete next steps to improve information flow and interoperability, and help solve existing and potential future problems. NISO Plus 2021 was our first virtual conference, held in February of 2021. A global undertaking, NISO Plus 2021 had over 800 participants from 26 countries come together to have a conversation about the state of the information ecosystem. Here you'll find both the presentations and discussions from that event.

The first annual NISO Plus conference was an in-person event, held in Baltimore, MD, on February 23-25, 2020. Our goal was to bring stakeholders from across the information economy together to generate discussion, seek common ground, identify areas of opportunity, and provide a space and resources to work towards solving common problems. We are happy to share the sessions that we recorded — the keynotes, Miles Conrad Lecture, and NISO-specific content.
