Andrew Wesolek

Head of digital scholarship, Clemson University

Andrew Wesolek currently serves as Clemson University’s first head of digital scholarship. In this role he launched and continues to develop a robust institutional repository, serves as the copyright officer for the library, partners with Clemson University Press to publish several Open Access journals, oversees the digitization of cultural heritage items from the Upstate of South Carolina, and manages several Open Education initiatives on campus. His research and professional interests focus on library support for new forms of scholarship, with an emphasis on “Open” initiatives and infrastructure. Wesolek also serves a founding co-editor of the Journal of Copyright in Education and Librarianship and as co-editor of the forthcoming book, Open Educational Resources: A Field Guide for Academic Librarians.

Carol Ann Davis

Director of Digital Scholarship Services, University of South Florida

Carol Ann Davis is the Director of Digital Scholarship Services at the University of South Florida, a relatively new department which incorporates scholarly communication, library publishing, and digitization. She was previously the Coordinator for Serials, working with subscription journals and the library’s open access journal publishing. She has been working with OA library publishing since 2010 and has seen the library’s publishing operation grow from 2 to 20 journal titles during that time, in addition to expanding into OA textbooks and conference proceedings. Mrs. Davis is also a former NASIG president.

Johanna Meetz

Scholarly Communication & Publishing Services Librarian and Associate Director of Pacific University Press, Pacific University

Johanna Meetz is the Scholarly Communication & Publishing Services Librarian as well as the Associate Director of Pacific University Press at Pacific University. She is responsible for publishing Pacific’s open access journals as well as books for Pacific University Press. She is also manages Pacific’s institutional repository, CommonKnowledge. She holds an MA in Library and Information Science as well as a Graduate Certificate in Book Arts and Book Studies from The University of Iowa. She also holds an MA in Religious Studies from the University of Missouri.
